The Registered Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory pharmacologic, diagnostic, and therapeutic modalities to all age groups.  The Certified Respiratory Therapist provides direct patient care and works collaboratively with other team members, the physician, and the patient/family to achieve optimal patient outcomes.  The practitioner has access to confidential patient information and makes decisions independently and in collaborations with other team members and physicians.  This individual works under the indirect supervision of the Respiratory Care Supervisor. 

Education- High School diploma or GED  Respiratory Therapy

Certifications and Credentials- American Medical Association (AMA) approved Respiratory Therapy Program  Licensed by the State of Ohio.  Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)   Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and basic Electrocardiogram (EKG) interpretation  Prefers Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)                                                                         

Experience- One year experience in routine respiratory care therapeutics/pharmacology, including critical care and emergency procedures.

 Additional Information

Weekend and/or Holiday Rotation may be required.
Rotating Shifts may be required.
