Under the general direction of the CFO, the Finance Director's principal role is to continuously improve the financial performance of the Physician Division. This position serves as internal financial consultant to the Division and works effectively with Adena Medical Group Management to maximize overall financial performance. This position helps identify and assists in solving problems that serve as barriers to effective financial performance. The incumbent coordinates the development and success measurement of the Physician Services Division, develops and standardizes business practices among integrated practices, develops custom reports to support Division and individual physician needs, monitors physician productivity and performs financial analysis of practices and their financial performance. The Finance Director assists with proforma development in new business/programs and assists with monthly financial reporting and budgets/forecasts. Management of confidential financial, patient and human resource information is required.
Education, Certifications and Credentials: Masters Degree in Health Care Administration and/or Business Administration. Board Certification in American College of Medical Practice Executives and/or American College of Healthcare Executives preferred. Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field required.
Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years experience in a similar position with exposure to medical practice processes. Supervisory experience is required. Multi-site experience is preferred.
